Holistica DermaceuticalsHolistica’s definition of a natural ingredient is one in which the molecules of the ingredient have not been scientifically mutated or manipulated thereby altering its form and life energy frequency signature into a state which does not occur in it’s natural condition and environment.
Under the definition “Holistic” (true natural ingredient), products will, by their vary nature, experience slight to moderate variations in their color, aroma and texture from season to season and batch to batch.
Holistica’s products are Holistic and therefore prone to these same variations. These variations in color, aroma and textured do not, however, change or interfere with the efficacy of the products. If anything, these variations are your assurance that our products are truly natural.
With synthetic ingredients, the color, texture and aroma of the products can e controlled and the consistency maintained from batch to batch and year to year. Synthetically formulated products also have a longer shelf life than natural products. It is for this reason that most manufacturers use synthetic ingredients in their formulations.
Small, generally ineffective amounts of natural ingredients are incorporated into the synthetic formulation in order to claim that the product is “natural”. Natural ingredients, however, do not work in harmony with synthetic ingredients and unfortunately, in the process, the efficacy and beneficial properties of the natural ingredients are seriously compromised.
Being able to control the consistency of the products is very important in the retail end of the skin care product business (department stores, drug stores etc.) where the consumer does not have the benefit of receiving guidance, treatments, and advice from professional holistic practitioners (Dermaticians and Dermeopaths).
